About Us

Special Needs Cleaning Services was founded in 1993. It is owned and operated by David McGahan, R.N. and Marilyn Johnson

We are a very discreet business. Our vehicles are fully equipped and unmarked to insure the privacy of our customers during their times of crisis.

Due to the nature of our business, we realize that this is a highly stressful time for the family and friends of the deceased and/or victimized person.

The nature of our cleaning is time consuming. Our goal is to clean and restore the property to an environmentally safe condition. We will attempt to work as fast as we can so that you can expedite any necessary family, business, or legal matters.

We ask the following from you, other family members, and friends:

  1. We would prefer not to answer the telephone and give out information.

  2. We do not allow visitors. Nor will any information be given to them. At your request, we will give them your name, hospital name, or the name of the funeral home.

  3. Due to the nature of the situation at hand, we ask that only one person give direction to Special Needs Cleaning Services. If this is not possible, please list the names of others on our Work Authorization Form who are allowed to enter the premises, take possessions, or assign us additional work.

  4. Any possessions taken by anyone must be signed for on our Discarded Items Form.

  5. Please try to keep us out of any family disputes which may arise.

All work is documented. Customers will receive full documentation including MSDS Sheets on chemicals used. Proof of Medical Waste Disposal is also furnished. We will bill your insurance direct.

All medical waste is collected and transported for incineration by Gamma Waste Systems of Houston, Texas. Their phone number is (713) 910-6477 and web site is www.gammaservices.com

We have developed a "Check List" which is a guide to help in settling a person's estate. The guide is not a legal, financial, or religious document. Its only intent is to help those who are dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic, unexpected death. It is furnished to all of our customers. It has also been widely distributed to law enforcement agencies and funeral homes.
